New project: Hana, diagnosed with Leishmania

Over a month ago Ivana Anavi rescued Hana from the streets of Skopje, Macedonia. Her fur and skin were in bad condition and she was emaciated. After 10 days they had won the battle with diarrhea, but although she had a healthy appetite she didn’t gain weight. After a month she still weighs only 10,8 kg instead of 20 kg. All the blood works were done: her organs are fine, she is a bit anemic and she tested very positive for leishmania frown-emoticon She is on allopurinol now, but treatment with Milteforan should start a.s.a.p. This costs about 200 euro, money Ivana does not have. So we started a fundraiser:

Meer dan een maand geleden redde Ivana Anavi Hana van de straat in Skopje, Macedonië. Haar vacht en huid zagen er slecht uit en ze was uitgemergeld. Na 10 dagen hadden ze de strijd tegen de diarree gewonnen en hoewel haar eetlust goed was werd ze maar niet dikker. Uitgebreid bloedonderzoek toonde aan dat al haar organen goed functioneren, dat ze een beetje bloedarmoede heeft en dat ze hoog scoorde op leishmania frown-emoticon Ze krijgt nu allopurinol, maar de behandeling met Milteforan moet ook z.s.m. beginnen. Dit kost ongeveer 200 euro en dat heeft Ivana niet. Dus hebben we een fundraiser opgezet:
