Teo, Zaga and Ava need supporters

Teo, Zaga and Ava (from left to right) are very cute handicapped dogs looking for a forever home in Western Europe (preferably), USA or Canada. Till they are adopted they are living with Silvija Gastarovski in Skopje, Macedonia. Taking care of handicapped dogs is very expensive (about 150 – 200 euro per month per dog). Therefore we are looking for supporters who are willing to pay a fixed amount every month for their food, diapers, ointment, wetties, meds, desinfectant, bed covers, etc. Please contact us if you are willing to support them.

Teo, Zaga en Ava (van links naar rechts) zijn heel leuke gehandicapte honden voor wie we een adoptant zoeken in West-Europa (bij voorkeur), VS of Canada. In de tussentijd wonen ze bij Silvija Gastarovski in Skopje, Macedonië. Per maand en per hond bedragen de kosten 150 tot 200 euro voor voer, luiers, zalf, wetties, medicijnen, ontsmettingsmiddel, onderleggers, e.d. Daarom zoeken we donateurs die iedere maand een vast bedrag willen betalen. Elk bedrag is meer dan welkom!

Tokito urgently needs an adopter

Urgently adopter needed for handicapped Tokito. He was found in January this year by Angelcats sanctuary, probably hit by a car, immobile. His wounds have healed and there are signs he might regain the use of his hind legs. He needs an adopter who knows how to take care of an invalid cat and how to provide therapy. In the sanctuary it is not possible to give him al the care he needs and we feel this is absolutely not fair to him. If you want to adopt Tokito, please contact us.

Dringend adoptant gezocht voor de gehandicapte Tokito. Hij werd in januari jl. gevonden door Angelcats Sanctuary, waarschijnlijk aangereden en niet in staat om te bewegen. Zijn wonden zijn inmiddels geheeld en er zijn tekenen dat hij zijn achterpoten weer kan gebruiken. We zoeken een adoptant die ervaring heeft met gehandicapte katten en voor de juiste therapie kan zorgen. In de kattenopvang is het helaas niet mogelijk om hem alle benodigde zorg te geven en dat is niet eerlijk ten opzichte van hem.

Angelcats Sanctuary starts neutering campaign

Neutering cats is the best way to save lives, because it diminishes the stray cat population, the suffering and diseases spreading. That’s why Angelcats sanctuary in Skopje (Macedonia) has started a campaign to neuter cats. Their goal is to neuter at least 100 cats per year. This costs 20 euro per cat. Katten castreren is de beste manier om levens te redden, omdat het de zwerfkattenpopulatie reduceert en lijden en de verspreiding van ziekten tegengaat. Launch of Angel’s Choice – Angel’s Choice van start

This morning the official document for the Dutch foundation Angel’s Choice was signed at the office of the notary. Afterwards Angel read the document and said it was purrfect 🙂
Actually the foundation formalises what Adrie Beyen has been doing for some time now: investing time, energy, knowledge and expertise for the sake of animals that need help. ‘Mutual aid’ is the fundamental idea: helping each other fighting animal cruelty. This may sound grand, but you should realise that money for a bag of food, a practical tip, a useful contact or information could already make a big difference for an animal. Vanmorgen werd de oprichtingsakte van Stichting Angel’s Choice getekend bij de notaris. Daarna las Angel het document en ze zei dat het helemaal in orde is.
De Stichting is in feite een formalisering van wat Adrie Beyen al enige tijd doet: tijd, energie, kennis en ervaring inzetten voor dieren die hulp nodig hebben. ‘Mutual aid’ vormt het uitgangspunt: elkaar helpen bij het bestrijden van dierenleed. Dat klinkt groots, maar weet dat zelfs al geld voor een zak voer, een praktische tip, een handig contact of informatie een wereld van verschil kan maken voor een dier.
