Berdien from the Netherlands was on holiday in Ohrid, Macedonia, and she visited the shelter of Animalia Ohrid. She spent a lot of time with handicapped Tomce and he loved it. Thank you Berdien, for giving your love to him. We wish you could adopt him… He really needs a real home with a loving adopter who can give him lots of attention and therapy.

Berdien uit Nederland vierde vakantie in Ohrid, Macedonië, en ze bezocht de shelter van Animalia Ohrid. Ze bracht veel tijd door met Tomce en die vond het geweldig. Dankjewel Berdien, dat je hem zo veel liefde gaf. Kom je hem maar adopteren… Hij heeft echt een echt huis nodig met iemand die van hem houdt en hem alle aandacht en therapie kan geven die hij nodig heeft.

Look at her face… so sweet. Zaga is not only sweet looking, she also has a sweet character. We really hope to find her a good home soon with someone who can give her what she needs and maybe get her more mobile again. That’s our biggest wish for her. Kijk eens naar dat lieve snoetje. Zaga ziet er niet alleen lief uit, ze is ook heel lief. We hopen echt dat het niet lang duurt eer ze naar haar gouden mandje kan vliegen. Een gouden mandjes dat staat bij iemand die haar kan geven wat ze nodig heeft en misschien ervoor kan zorgen dat ze weer mobieler wordt. Dat is onze grootste wens voor haar. After a lot of happy news, there is very sad news. On September 11th, 2015, Tomy died. This puppy was found by Silvija Gastarovski in Skopje, Macedonië. He was in very bad condition, suffering from demodex. And then she finally found out he also suffered from distemper. Sweet Tomy didn’t make it. On September 14th Betty died. She had been fighting cancer, had surgery and cytostatic treatment, but an infection took her away from us. And in the early morning of September 15th Daisy died. She was recovering from her big neck wound, but after an injection an abcess developed and finally the abcess went inside. Silvija lost three dogs in such a short period of time. RIP dear Tomy, Betty and Daisy. Thank you Silvija, for all you did for them.

Na veel goed nieuws, hebben we erg verdrietig nieuws. Op 11 september 2015 stierf Tomy. Silvija Gastarovski vond hem in Skopje, Macedonië. Hij was er slecht aan toe en had schurft. Uiteindelijk bleek hij ook distemper te hebben en hij heeft het niet gered. Op 14 september stierf Betty. Ze had kanker en kreeg na een operatie chemotherapie, maar een infectie maakte een eind aan haar leven. En op 15 september stierf Daisy ’s morgens vroeg. Ze was herstellende van de vreselijke nekwond, maar na een injectie ontstond er een abces en dat sloeg naar binnen. Silvija verloor drie honden in korte tijd. RIP lieve Tomy, Betty en Daisy. Dank Silvija, voor alles wat je voor hen hebt gedaan.

Publishing company A3 boeken donates slightly damaged books to Angel’s Choice and Angel’s Choice sells them in their online shop at Facebook or at events where A3 boeken is presenting itself and selling its publications. In three days time 150 euro was raised this way and the money will be used to buy food and medicines for the animals at the organisations and invidual animal rescuers supported by Angel’s Choice.

Uitgeverij A3 boeken doneert  lichtbeschadigde boeken aan Angel’s Choice en Angel’s Choice verkoopt die in de shop op Facebook of tijdens evenementen waar A3 boeken staat en ook boeken verkoopt. In drie dagen tijd is zo 150 euro opgehaald en dit geld wordt gebruikt voor voer en medicijnen voor de dieren van de organisaties en individuele dierenredders die Angel’s Choice steunt.

Deze spullen werden gedoneerd door Hans, de nieuwe papa van kat Femie. Ze worden z.s.m. naar Angelcats Sanctuary in Skopje, Macedonië, verzonden. Het boekje met waaier wordt verkocht in de shop van Angel’s Choice op Facebook (openbare pagina, je hoeft niet op Facebook te ‘zitten’ om de koopwaar te bekijken).

Lunita went to the vet hospital on September 9th, 2015, for another urinalysis and finally there were no more bacteria to be found in her bladder. The vet was surprised and happy, because she expected it would take a lot longer to cure the bladder infection that went untreated for such a long time at her former adopter’s home. The long term fosters are giving Lunita raw food and expressed her bladder several times a day. Now Lunita can empty her bladder completely on her own. She also had another ivermectin injection to treat the parasite that caused so much skin problems. Even her fur is growing back on her tail and most part of her back legs.

Lunita ging op 9 september 2015 weer naar de dierenkliniek voor een urineonderzoek en daaruit bleek dat er geen bacteriën meer in haar blaas zitten. De dierenarts was verrast en blij, want zij had verwacht dat het veel langer zou duren om de blaasinfectie te genezen, omdat die zo lang niet was aangepakt toen ze bij haar voormalige adoptant verbleef. De opvanggezinnen geven Lunita raw food en leegden haar blaas verschillende keren per dag. Nu kan Lunita zelf haar blaas helemaal legen. Ze kreeg ook weer een ivermectininjectie voor de parasiet die voor ernstige huidproblemen heeft gezorgd. Zelfs haar haar komt weer terug op haar staart en grote delen van haar achterpoten.

On September 9th, 2015, Petra Poorter from fellow organisation Wereldpootjes arrived at Schiphol Airport with cats Mika and Femie from Angelcats Sanctuary, Skopje, Macedonia and dog Mila from Animalia Ohrid, Macedonia. At the airport Jennifer was waiting eagerly for her Mila to arrive. Adrie from Angel’s Choice hugged Mila – of course – and then she brought Mika to her home in Apeldoorn and Femie to her home in Olst.
Op 9 september 2015 kwam Petra Poorter van collega-organisatie Wereldpootjes aan op Schiphol met de katten Mika en Femie van Angelcats Sanctuary, Skopje, Macedonië en hond Mila van Animalia Ohrid, Macedonië. Op het vliegveld stond Jennifer vol spanning te wachten op haar Mila. Adrie van Angel’s Choice knuffelde Mila ook – natuurlijk – en ging toen op pad om Mika naar haar nieuwe thuis in Apeldoorn te brengen en Femie naar Olst.

After over 6 months of searching for a forever home for handicapped Ava from Skopje, Macedonia, someone in Belgium fell in love with her. And she and her partner are now eagerly waiting for the moment they can hold her in their arms. The fundraiser for her transport has already reached the goal amount and now we just have to wait some more weeks…

Na meer dan zes maanden zoeken naar een adoptant voor gehandicapte Ava uit Skopje, Macedonië, werd iemand in België verliefd op haar. En zij en haar partner wachten nu ongeduldig op het moment dat ze haar in hun armen kunnen sluiten. De fundraiser voor haar transport heeft al het benodigde geld opgehaald en nu hoeven we alleen nog maar enkele weken te wachten…
