We keep track of the neutering campaign of Angelcats Sanctuary in Skopje, Macedonia, by adding pictures to the gallery on the page of the fundraiser. In the first weeks of the campaign 20 cats have been neutered. Then the vet who performs the neutering went on holiday… but he is back now and the cat trap cage has arrived, so they will continue neutering. We houden de castratiecampagne van Angelcats Sanctuary in Skopje, Macedonië, bij door foto’s toe te voegen in de galerij op de fundraiserpagina. In de eerste weken van de campagne zijn 20 katten gecastreerd. Toen ging de dierenarts die ze uitvoert op vakantie… maar hij is weer terug en de kattenvangkooi is inmiddels gearriveerd, dus ze gaan door.

The big package from the Netherlands has arrived in Macedonia containing several necessities for Angelcats Sanctuary and handicapped dogs Teo, Ava and Zage, like a cat trap cage, anti-flea treatment, ear cleaner, eye cleaner, kitten milk, reusable diapers and inlays, aqua cooler mats and bandages. These items were purchased thanks to donation. The toys and t-shirts were a gift from Angel herself. A company sponsored transport.

Het grote pakket met goederen voor Angelcats Sanctuary en de gehandicapte honden Teo, Ava en Zage is in Macedonië aangekomen. In het pakket zaten onder meer een kattenval, antivlooienmiddel, oorreiniger, oogreiniger, kittenmelk, herbruikbare luiers en inlays, aqua cooler matten en verband. Deze goederen konden worden gekocht dankzij donaties. De speeltjes en t-shirts zijn een cadeautje van Angel zelf. Het transport werd gesponsord door een bedrijf.

A few days before the big package another package arrived in Macedonia containing diaper shorts for Teo and Ava and a drag bag for  Teo. Diaper shorts keep diapers where they should be: on the dog and not on the floor. The drag bag prevents sores on the hind legs while moving around. These items were paid for with money for the fundraiser that run earlier this year for Teo. The remainder of the raised money was used for medicines, Xray, MRI.

Enkele dagen voor het grote pakket was er al een ander pakket aangekomen in Macedonië met luierbroeken voor Teo en Ava en een sleepzak voor Teo. Luierbroeken zorgen ervoor dat de luiers blijven zitten waar ze horen: op de hond en niet op de grond. De sleepzak voorkomt dat er wonden op de achterpoten ontstaan tijdens het rondschuifelen. Deze artikelen zijn betaald met geld uit de fundraiser die eerder dit jaar liep voor Teo. Het overge geld is gebruikt voor medicijnen, röntgenfoto’s en MRIscan.

Thanks to donations the dogs Belce, Labi, Tobi, Djeki and Mece were neutered. At Rescue for Animals Blazevska in Ohrid and Bitola (Macedonia) there are four other dogs and five cats still waiting for neutering, but this cannot be done yet because there is no money. It’s only 20 euro per animal, so we hope that soon some people will make it possible to have the others neutered as well.

Bij Rescue for Animals Blazevska in Ohrid en Bitola (Macedonië) wachten nog vier andere honden en vijf katten op castratie, maar dit kan nog niet worden gedaan omdat er geen geld is. Het kost slechts 20 euro per dier, dus we hopen dat een paar mensen het spoedig mogelijk maken om ook hen te castreren.

Some necessities are not available in Macedonia, so Angel’s Choice tries to raise money to buy them and ship them to the animal rescuers. The big cage to trap stray cats to be neutered, lotion for cleaning eyes, lotion for cleaning ears, kittenmilk and some toys are going to Angelcats Sanctuary in Skopje. Stronghold antiparasites, elastic bandages, aquacoolkeepers, 6 reusable diaper(shorts), a whole lot of inlays and some toys are going to the handicapped dogs Teo, Ava and Zaga who are fostered by Silvija Gastarovska in Skopje. Angel is staying in the Netherlands of course.
Sommige broodnodige artikelen zijn niet te koop in Macedonië, daarom zamelt Angel’s Choice geld in, koopt de artikelen en verstuurt ze naar de animal rescuers. De grote kooi om zwerfkatten te vangen voor castratie, oogreinigingslotion, oorreinigingslotion, kittenmelk en enkele speeltjes gaan naar Angelcats Sanctuary in Skopje. Stronghold tegen parasieten, elastisch verband, aquacoolkeepers, 6 herbruikbare luier(broeken), een hele stapel inlays en enkele speeltjes gaan naar de gehandicapte honden Teo, Ava en Zaga die worden opgevangen door Silvija Gastarovska in Skopje. De Stronghold is geschonken door Dierenkliniek De Vijf Heuvels in Markelo. Angel blijft natuurlijk in Nederland.

A few months ago Paffy was hit by a car. He couldn’t use his hind legs after this. Very slowly he started getting some functioning back, but his walk is very unbalanced and insecure. He needs support while walking. Maybe therapy will most probably lead to more use of his hind legs. His owner cannot take care of him anymore, therefore he is available for adoption. He seems to be lucky, because a very nice lady wants to adopt him. We have to sort out how he will travel from Macedonia to his adopter and money has to be raised to pay for this.

Enkele maanden geleden werd Paffy aangereden. Daarna kon hij zijn achterpoten niet meer gebruiken. Heel langzaam kon hij ze weer een beetje gaan gebruiken, maar het lopen gaat nog niet goed, hij valt snel om en staat niet stevig op zijn pootjes. Hij moet dan ook ondersteund worden. Therapie kan zeer waarschijnlijk tot verbetering leiden. Zijn baasje kan niet meer voor hem zorgen en daarom wordt hij ter adoptie aangeboden. Zoals het er nu naar uitziet, heeft hij geluk, want een heel lieve vrouw wil hem adopteren. We moeten nog uitzoeken hoe hij vanuit Macedonië bij haar komt en er zal geld moeten worden verzameld voor zijn reis.

After long negatiations the handicapped dog Lunita is now once again under the care of Luba Salta, the rescue organisation from Argentina. Money is needed to send her to her long term foster home to recover and for the initial medical costs. Lunita will remain in the USA. Angel’s Choice organises the fundraiser.

The neutering campaign of Angelcats sanctuary​ in Macedonia is going strong. They get requests for neutering from people who own a cat and cannot afford a neutering and from people who take care of stray cats and want those neutered. They keep track of the neutering in the album ‘Neutering campaign’ on their page and we do this in the gallery of the fundraiser. We are very happy we have supporters who agree with us that neutering is the best way to save lives. We have set a goal of 100 neuterings in 1 year, but we don’t mind if this will be 200 or more. So keep on donating. Together we can save a lot of lives.

Het gaat goed met de castratiecampagne van Angelcats Sanctuary. Ze krijgen castratieverzoeken van mensen die een kat hebben maar de dierenarts niet kunnen betalen en van mensen die voor zwerfkatten zorgen en deze willen laten castreren. Ze houden de castraties bij in het album ‘Neutering campaign’ op hun pagina en wij doen dat in de ‘gallery’ van de fundraiser. We zijn heel blij dat we donateurs hebben die het met ons eens zijn dat castreren de beste manier is om levens te redden. We hebben een streefaantal van 100 castraties in 1 jaar, maar vinden het niet erg als dit er 200 of meer worden. Dus blijf doneren. Met elkaar kunnen we heel veel levens redden.

Over 30 years ago Eleonora and Elizabeta Blazevska started rescuing abused and stray dogs and cats and sometimes also other animals. They keep them in their own homes in Ohrid and Bitola (Macedonia), where they have plenty of room to live and receive lots of love. They try to get the animals adopted, but some of them stay with them till they die. They were able to pay for all the food and medical care and other necessities themselves, but Elizabeta lost their job. Now it is very hard for them to give the animals all they need and letting them go stray again is no option, of course. Angel’s Choice will support them and will start straight away with a fundraiser for neutering 14 animals.

Al meer dan dertig jaar redden Eleonora en Elizabeta Blazevska mishandelde en zwerfhonden en -katten en soms ook andere dieren. Ze nemen ze op in hun eigen huis in Ohrid respectievelijk Bitola (Macedonië), waar ze veel liefde krijgen en volop de ruimte om te leven. Ze proberen dieren geadopteerd te krijgen en sommigen blijven bij hen tot hun dood. Tot nu toe hebben ze al het voer, de medische zorg en andere benodigdheden zelf kunnen betalen, maar Elizabeta is haar baan verloren. Nu is het erg moeilijk voor hen om de dieren te geven wat ze nodig hebben. Opnieuw op straat zetten is uiteraard geen optie.  Angel’s Choice gaat ze helpen en begint met een fundraiser voor de castratie van 14 dieren.
